Terms of Service

01Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Kairo Wellness LLC ("Kairo," "we," "us"). They govern your use of the Kairo app and the kaironutrition.com website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create a Kairo account. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

03Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You're responsible for the information you enter, including profiles you create for household members.

04License to use Kairo

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own household's meal planning and nutrition needs, in accordance with these Terms. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.

05Subscriptions & billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to those stores' terms.

• Renewal — paid subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Cancellation — you manage and cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Refunds — refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We generally cannot issue refunds directly for store-processed purchases.

Prices and plan details may change; we'll give notice of material changes as required.

06Not medical advice

Allergen and dietary features are designed to help you plan, but you are responsible for reading product labels and confirming that foods are safe for you and your household. Do not rely solely on the app for allergy safety.

07Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful or harmful.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you're not authorized to access.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service except as allowed by law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our permission.

08Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, content, recipes, design, and the Kairo name and logo, is owned by Kairo Wellness LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't give you any ownership of the Service.

09Your content

You keep ownership of the information and content you submit. You grant us a license to use that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — for example, to generate your meal plans and grocery lists. We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

10Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that nutrition information will be complete or accurate for your circumstances.

11Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kairo Wellness LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

12Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.

13Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the courts located in New Jersey, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

14Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and provide notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
